Overview Let us reflect on the underlying norms and thinking that employment and our entire Industrial Age Systems rest upon. What do you find? The inherent win / lose nature of slavery and serfdom is self-evident. The primary problem with wealth creation systems of the Win/Lose Era is that they are fear based. And, the desire to control others comes largely from fear and mistrust. Our fear-based insecurities drove people to compete endlessly and often meaninglessly. These insecurities breed low emotional intelligence and spiritual awareness. They breed victims. This talk explores SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE, the intelligence which we address and solve problems of MEANING and VALUES in today’s Win / Lose Era. It looks at how this category of skills is becoming increasingly crucial for wholeness, happiness and effective living of individuals. Content/Objectives 1. To explore how we can place our actions and our lives in a wider, richer, meaning-giving context. 2. To share how we can assess that one course of action or one life path is more meaningful than another. |
