| Q11. |
I am unable to
access the online payment webpage, I encounter "HTTP
Error 403, 403.5 Forbidden: SSL 128 required" on my web browser. |
| A11. |
This error
occurs if your browser does not support 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. To
resolve this problem, you will need to upgrade to 128-bit SSL encryption to your browser
or to upgrade your browser to the latest version. Links for updates are as follows:

| Q12. |
Why do I need to use 128-bit
SSL Encryption? |
| A12. |
SSL Encryption is a process by which
information is scrambled or coded in an attempt to hide it from someone who shouldn't be
seeing it. It safeguards the information sent between your browser and the computer system
at MIM to reduce the likelihood of unauthorised accessing or viewing of information.
Currently, 40-bit SSL
encryption is the minimum standard that is used in most browsers. However, it is
recommended to use 128-bit SSL encryption. The difference between 40-bit SSL and 128-bit
SSL is the length of the key used to encrypt the message. The longer the key is, the more
difficult it is to break the encryption code. |

| Q13. |
How
do I check to see whether I'm using a 128-bit SSL Encrypted browser? |
| A13. |
To determine
if you have the 128-bit SSL encryption software, please follow the instructions below: · Internet Explorer 5.0x and later
version
o From your browser menu at the top,
select "Help"
o Click on "About Internet
Explorer"
o If you see the statement,
"Cipher Strength: 128-bit supported" it means your browser supports 128-bit SSL
encryption. |
|
· Netscape 4.7x only
o From your browser menu at the
top, select "Help"
o Click on "About
Navigator" or "About Communicator"
o Look for the section that
reads "Contains encryption software from RSA Data Security, Inc".
o If the next paragraph (in
bold) says "This version supports U.S. security", it means you have 128-bit SSL
security.
o If it says you have
International security it means you have 40-bit SSL security. |
